Batik Exhibition at Deerfield Beach Cultural Center October 1st - November 19th, 2022
The first batik exhibition in Florida showed in 2002 at the Deerfield Beach Cultural Center to celebrate Indonesian Batik National Day. Indonesia celebrates Batik National Day every October 2nd by wearing batik outfits ranging from traditional to modern. The exhibition also included cosplayers by local Floridians, Nadmar Production.

Batik Demonstration
Batik artist demonstrated to visitors how batik was made through live shows and Youtube presentations.

Cosplay by Nadmar Production
Enthusiastic American cosplayers showed visitors their traditional Indonesian costumes and explained their characters and stories to visitors. Some of these characters were Sangkuriang, Si Pitung, Kartini, Srikandi, Sabai Nan Alui, Raja Pala, and Untung Surapati.

Visitors
Visitors enjoyed some of the Indonesian food, snacks, and drinks. They enjoyed the Indonesian traditional dancer's performance, batik exhibition, and batik presentation.
